The 2022 Women's Voices Now Film Festival to Hold Awards Ceremony on March 24th

Women's Voices Now ("WVN") is holding its eighth annual virtual film festival featuring documentary films from 19 countries. It is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with the mission of using film to drive positive social change that advances women’s and girls’ rights globally. The organization was founded in 2010 by lawyer Catinca Tabacaru and philanthropist Leslie Sacks

WVN reported that this year's festival saw submissions from nearly 40 countries. A total of ten thousand dollars ($10,000 USD) in cash prizes will be provided to the festival's winning filmmakers in six categories including the documentary feature, short, and youth categories.

Jaina Lee Ortiz, star of the ABC drama "Station 19," will be the Keynote Speaker at the 2022 Women's Voices Now Film Festival Awards Ceremony on Thursday, March 24th, at 1pm CT. A ticket to the virtual ceremony will give viewers access to all the festival selections through the remainder of March to commemorate Women's History Month.
